Dining
On the Island, the land and sea offer bountiful feasts and unlimited culinary possibilities. Fall Flavours is the perfect way to discover the source of our local foods and beverages, and to see how they’re prepared and served. It’s also your chance to participate in the process–and of course, taste the results. Choose from more than 130 events, including Farm Day in the City, Organic Harvest Meal, and the Handcrafted Ales & Wine Festival. Take part in interactive workshops to learn about pickling and preserves, or the art of cheese-and-wine pairing. Join chef Michael Smith for the Taste Our Island Roving Feast.
Savour the fall

Chef Michael Smith is Prince Edward
Island's Food Ambasador and was
the host of the 2009
Fall Flavours Festival.
Nature spent all spring and summer growing the foods we enjoy on Prince Edward Island: fruits, herbs, vegetables, lobster, oysters, mussels, and nearly every kind of fish and meat. Now, in the fall, our chefs (many trained at the Culinary Institute right here in Charlottetown) have access to this abundance of fresh ingredients. Combine nature’s perfection with highly-skilled food artists, and the result is sure to be meals to remember. Every possible dining experience, from elegant gourmet dinners to family-style restaurants to clambakes and barbecues on the beach. Fall is fresh on PEI!
