Cavendish Beach Music Festival
Top Touring Artists Coming to Cavendish!

For the fifth year in a row, the LOTTO MAX Presents Cavendish Beach Music Festival will bring world-class country music entertainment to the region's most popular festival vacation destination. On Saturday, July 6, hot off the heels of what Pollstar reports as the "Biggest Stadium Tour of the Year", and the "Highest Grossing Tour of the Summer", Kenny Chesney will make a tour stop in Cavendish headlining the festival.
World-renowned Kenny Chesney will not be the only superstar taking the stage on Saturday, July 6, 2013. Little Big Town will bring the sounds of their latest album "Tornado" to Cavendish on Saturday, July 6, 2013. The title track from this latest release is following a similar path up the charts as the 1st smash hit single titled "Pontoon", which reached #1 this past summer! They have sold 1.5 million records, charted 14 songs on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and racked up multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM nominations during their 13-year career.
Also joining Saturday's party is Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Michelle Wright. An Ontario native, Michelle is well known for her accomplishments internationally. She is the first Canadian-born artist in the modern era of country music to have a Top Ten hit in America and a Number One video on CMT-USA. In addition, she won Academy of Country Music Top New Female Artist in 1993.
Thirteen (13) time Grammy award winning trio the Dixie Chicks have confirmed a stop in Cavendish to headline on Sunday, July 7, 2013 during their long awaited "Taking The Long Way" tour. Superstars, renegades, innovators, heroes, villains and moms - over almost a decade, the Dixie Chicks have grown from a band into a phenomenon. With over 30 million albums sold and one of the biggest selling female bands in the U.S., this power trio is ready to rock the stage with their classics, along with some bold new sounds.
On Sunday, July 7, Ontario native, Jason Blaine will bring the new sounds of his fourth studio album "Life So Far" to the beaches of Cavendish. After winning "Project Discovery" in 2002, he took his musical talents to Nashville and has since had four singles chart on the Canadian Hot 100, including his current Top 10 single, "On A Night Like This".
The Festival is nestled in the coastal community of Cavendish, Prince Edward Island. The acres of beautiful camping areas, dining, attractions and a number of the world's most magnificent beaches have earned Cavendish the title of the number one family vacation destination.
