Prince Edward Island has more than 333 species of birds, so it is a perfect place to come and update that checklist.

 

Great Blue Herons are seen in almost every estuary and have come to represent the Island to many, but there are another 300 and some for you to find from rare shorebirds to common Blue Jays. Ask for the Field Checklist of Birds at Visitor Information Centres.
