Bottle House, Cap-Egmont, Prince Edward Island
AttractionsSo much to see and do – the hardest decisions you’ll have to make are how to fit everything in!

The Island’s greatest attractions lie in its landscape: rich soil that turns red from high concentrations of rusting iron oxide, quaint countryside filled with patchworks of fields, salt-water breakers that crash against the north shore, sands that sing when you walk at Basin Head, native birds that chirp along your cycle on the Confederation Trail, dunes that beckon as you perfect your game at the Links of Crowbush Cove, or the stunning sight of the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Northumberland Strait meeting at North Cape. The Island is just 224 kilometers long – and although you could drive it in three or four hours, you’ll want to enjoy the scenery along the way.

Horseback riding is another fun Island outdoor activity. Trail rides are available to take you through beautiful wooded trails at Brudenell or along the north shore at Lakeside.
