About PEI

Prince Edward Island is Canada’s smallest province, located off the eastern coast, covering a land mass of 5,660 square kilometres (2,184 square miles). The Island is only 224 kilometres (139 miles) long and between 6 kilometres and 64 kilometres (four and 40 miles) wide. No part of the Island is more than 16 kilometres from the ocean. Prince Edward Island is an incredible destination for beach lovers, cyclists, music enthusiasts, and food lovers. With an abundance of parks and beaches to visit, and of course Anne of Green Gables - a fictional character so vibrant it’s as if she has come to life. From the stunning red cliffs, the miles of red and champagne beaches, the vibrant small city scenes, there is adventure around every corner.
