Culinary

There are many advantages to a small island, especially this one. The land here is rich, producing a bounty of fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy products. We are Canada’s Food Island. Our waters teem with fish, as well as lobster, oysters, and other shellfish. From above, the Island is a patchwork of rolling, colourful farms.  Our farmers and fishers provide the ingredients and our award-winning chefs turn those fresh ingredients into culinary masterpieces. Home to the Culinary Institute of Canada, dozens of hands-on Authentic PEI (culinary) Experiences, restaurants, breweries and cideries,food artisans, and the month-long Fall Flavours culinary festival that celebrates it all. There is no end to possibilities of stories around our culinary scene.
