Culinary

There are many advantages to being a small island, especially this one. The land here is rich, producing a bounty of fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy products. We are Canada’s Food Island. Our waters teem with fish, lobster, oysters and other shellfish. From above, the Island is a patchwork of rolling, colourful farms. Our farmers and fishers provide the ingredients and our award-winning chefs turn those fresh ingredients into culinary masterpieces. Home to the Culinary Institute of Canada, dozens of hands-on culinary Authentic PEI Experiences, festivals, restaurants, breweries and cideries, food artisans and more that celebrate it all. There is no end to the possibilities for stories on Canada's Food Island.
