North Cape Coastal Golf Itinerary

What is your idea of golf heaven? If teeing off at more than one course during a vacation is on your list – then Prince Edward Island is the place for you. Capitalize on your best golf game with a few insider tips:

Day 1

Start your vacation off by popping into The Handpie Company in Albany for a delicious snack before hitting the greens!

You’ll make your way to PEI’s second largest city, Summerside, and play a challenging 18 holes at Summerside Golf & Country Club while taking in the scenic view of the rolling countryside.

Traveling with those who don’t enjoy the game of golf as much as you? No problem! There are lots of things to see and do in the area.

Immerse yourself in history at Wyatt Heritage Properties or let the kids burn off some energy at Off the Wallz Trampoline Park or Splash Park. You’ll want to purchase that perfect PEI keepsake at Spinnakers’ Landing! Finish your day off with a Segway Tour on the Baywalk Boardwalk. Make sure you leave room for some delicious homemade ice cream at Holman’s Ice Cream Parlour. Watch the horses race to the finish line at Red Shores Summerside.

Day 2

Travel to the West Prince area to golf this 9 hole hidden gem, St Felix Golf Course. Offering a quiet and secluded atmosphere.

Visit the Stompin’ Tom Centre Homestead & Schoolhouse where you will no doubt have your toes tappin’ as you listen to some classics like Bud the Spud and The Hockey Song!

Drive to the very tip of the Island and discover the colliding of the tides at North Cape!

View impressive wind turbines and learn about renewable energy at the Wind Energy Interpretive Centre.

Next up, a stop at Kildare Capes is a must to see the red cliff coastline, a photo op we highly recommend!

Day 3

Complete your golf vacation at the mature forest 18 hole course at Mill River Resort. The rolling fairways, bunkered greens and numerous lakes make each hole a new challenge and a pleasure to play!

Explore small town Alberton and nearby Northport. You may even catch a glimpse of the boats coming back into the harbour!

If ice cream is your thing you’ll want to stop at Richmond’s Dairy Bar!

A visit to the Canadian Potato Museum in O’Leary is a must! The Potato Kitchen is a hidden gem your taste buds will thank us for!

While in the West Point area make sure to go for a dip at Cedar Dunes Provincial Park or grab a bite at The Catch!

Day 4

Your golf games may be over in the North Cape Coastal Drive area but there is still so much to see and do!

Walk the nature trail in Lennox Island and gain firsthand perspective of traditional Mi'kmaq culture and customs.

If you love oysters, you’ll want to stop at Valley Pearl Oysters in Tyne Valley!

Grab a bite to eat at this ever so Instagrammable Backwoods Burgers.

Take a trip down the road a little less discovered and reward yourself with a delicious craft beer at Moth Lane Brewing.

Stop at Abram Village to experience rich Acadian culture. Indulge in traditional Acadian food and authentic music al experiences at Village Musical Acadien.

Finish off your day of exploring with a visit to The Bottle Houses, offering a 3D work of art to walk through!
