During season 22 of Bravo's Top Chef, Chef Ilona Daniel, a well-known Prince Edward Island chef and instructor at the Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown, served as a guest judge. In a Quickfire Challenge in episode 9, various chefs competed to prepare a dish featuring PEI Mussels in 20 minutes.

About Chef ILona Daniel
Chef Ilona is passionate about locally produced food and drink. She knows where you can buy some of the best oysters and lobsters - just a hop, a skip, and a jump from the waters where they were harvested. As someone who loves exploring the coastal drives of the Island, she has discovered PEI bakeries, nestled on back country roads, with croissants that will make you worship butter in ways you never imagined!
She wears many hats; not only a chef's hat!
Chef masterfully blends roles as an instructor at the Culinary Institute of Canada, food editor, TV show host, and community ambassador for Ask an Islander.
