Meetings and Conventions PEI developed a marketing and operations plan and obtained funding support from Tourism PEI and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. Hired a Senior International Business Development Manager with experience and knowledge in the incentive market. Hosted Post Incentive Canada FAM in July 2023 Hosted a writer from The Incentivist on May 31 FAM Developed a Showcase page on The Incentivist website featuring Meetings and Conventions PEI and incentive travel Representatives from The Incentivist newsletter and website participated on a FAM tour in July, 2022 and wrote an article based on their experience. www.theincentivist.com/pei-is-redefining-island-incentives/ In April 2023, hosted Jennifer Attersall, Director of Incentive Travel at Destination Canada on PEI for an in-person workshop focusing on incentive tourism and opportunities for PEI. |
