Tourism PEI Operations

Tourism PEI Operations

The Corporate Services Division is responsible for the operation of provincial parks and provincially-owned golf courses as well as general administration, financial services, records management and risk management.

Provincial Parks

Prince Edward Island’s provincial park system of 12 day-use parks and eight campgrounds is an important component of the Island’s tourism industry. Tourism PEI is responsible for staffing, programming, maintenance and capital improvements to ensure a high standard is met.

Confederation Trail

The Confederation Trail is managed as a linear park by staff of Tourism PEI. The Department of Transportation maintains the trail and handles all matters regarding the use of it other than biking or hiking.

Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park & Activity Centre

A provincial park, the Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park at Brookvale provides nordic and alpine skiing, fat biking, snowshoeing and tubing in winter. In the off-season, summer biathlon, mountain biking and hiking is popular.

Provincial Golf Courses

The three provincial golf courses, Brudenell, Dundarave and the Links at Crowbush Cove, are operated by Tourism PEI under the marketing banner of PEI’s Finest Golf. Packaging opportunities are available to operators.
