About this PropertyThe Car Life Museum, along the Trans-Canada Highway near Bonshaw, P.E.I., has been a family business since its beginnings more than 50 years ago. The museum features historic tractors and farm equipment, along with antique and classic cars. Automobiles, trucks, tractors and implements alike are jammed into the 10,000 square feet (929 sq metres!). Most are local cars that found their way here for a long rest, providing an authentic history and preservation of car life on this great little island. Highlights include an 1898 Mason Stem Carriage, an 1925 Buick Hearse, and a pink 1959 Cadillac once owned by Elvis Presley. Along with the car, visitors can see photos Elvis and hear the king crooning some of his biggest hits. It all adds to the atmosphere and the history of The Car Life Museum. Part of the magic and charm of museum is the way it brings back memories to those who take the time to stop in.
