Spring on Prince Edward Island is more than warmer days and bright red soil — it's a prime time to discover the Island's thriving community of makers, growers and artisans. This year, craft fairs and markets are popping up from tip to tip. There's never been a better reason to shop local. The listings below are organized by weekend from west to east.

April 17 & April 18

Spring Atlantic Maker Market

Friday, 4:00 to 7:00 PM & Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Charlottetown

PEI Spring Artisan Market

Saturday, April 18, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Charlottetown

This market will feature 25 unique Island artisans, including the popular Finkle Pottery.
