Eve Ellsworth
Were you born and raised on Prince Edward Island?
I was born and raised in the countryside of the Points East Coastal Drive region of PEI.
What does your average day look like?
I start my day by either going for a walk or a run outside, enjoying the fresh Prince Edward Island air. Then I head to work, where I have the pleasure of welcoming guests to the Island and helping them make the most of their visit. In the evenings, I love to curl up outside with a good book and spend time with my family.
What is your favorite thing about life on PEI?
I absolutely love how PEI is so peaceful and how everyone is so friendly.
What is something people wouldn’t know if they are not from PEI?
I find so many first-time visitors don't realize that everything is so close. To travel from one tip of PEI to the other, it takes about four and a half hours, which is pretty amazing to think about.
What are you passionate about?
I consider myself fairly adventurous, and I like to be outdoors. I love exploring all the trails PEI has to offer. Whether it's the Confederation Trail or a lesser-known trail like Harvey Moore or Mooney's Pond, I love being out in nature and getting a little exercise.
If you were to choose one spot on the Island to take someone who has never been here before, where would it be?
I would go to the Prince Edward Island National Park at Greenwich. It is one of my favourite spots on PEI. I love walking the trails and seeing the gorgeous views of the dunes at the end of the Greenwich Dunes Trail.
