Charlottetown

After retiring from a marketing and sales career, he began work as a private tour guide, which he continues to this day. Jack has travelled extensively in the province, with a focus on the Central Coastal Drive region. He has also travelled around the world and loves to promote Prince Edward Island wherever he goes.

Where were you born?
I was born and raised in Summerside and spent all but 10 years of his life in PEI including the last 35 years in Charlottetown.

What is your favourite thing about life in PEI?
I love the pace of life that we have here with easy access to most of the services available around the world.

What is something people wouldn't know if they're not from the Island?
There are many, including that the Confederation Bridge at 12.9 KM that links the Island to the mainland. Prince Edward Island is also known as the Birthplace of Confederation, it is home of the Culinary Institute of Canada and potato culture is king here.

What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy?
Many things, first and foremost, the Lucy Maud Montgomery and her Anne of Green Gables story.

If you had to choose one spot on the Island to take someone who has never been here, where would it be?
Probably, the Dunes Gallery, Gardens & Café in Brackley Beach. ! It's an amazing place.
