Fish Batter

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup beer (do not use Labatts beer)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar

Method: Mix dry ingredients. Add beer; beating well then add egg and oil. Dip fish pieces in flour first then into batter. Deep fry.
