Each year, new restaurants and sweet coffee and treat shops open across the Island, many rooted in local ingredients, global flavours and Island hospitality.

- The Rustico Cannery is a new harbourfront restaurant in North Rustico, with a late June opening planned.
- In Cavendish, the Galley at Marco Polo Land will debut later this summer with a brand-new dining room and deck with standout views.
- The Dirty Sail Oyster Bar has expanded to include Nellie's Galley at Nellie's Landing in Murray Harbour.
- Arsenault's Potato House & Café in Hampton will open June 20.
