For more than 30 years, the Canadian Potato Museum has been a labor of love, run by a dedicated team of volunteers who are passionate about sharing the story of Prince Edward Island’s most famous crop. Step inside and take a journey through time as you explore the rich history of PEI’s potato industry. Our museum exhibits showcase fascinating antique equipment and offer an interactive look at everything from the origins of the potato to the challenges posed by pests and diseases, as well as the traditional planting, cultivation, and harvesting methods used by generations of Island farmers.
And, of course, no trip is complete without snapping a photo with our famous 14-foot sculpted potato – a must-see landmark!
