Union Corner PEI Provincial Park

Union Corner Provincial Park

The Union Corner Provincial Park sits in the Evangeline Region, one of six Acadian and Francophone regions of PEI.

At low tide, watch for a delicate five‑petal star pressed into the sand, a sign of a hidden sand dollar moving just beneath the surface. Empty shells may wash ashore, and if you crack one open, you’ll find five tiny white shapes inside, often called “sand dollar doves,” actually the sand dollar’s dried mouth parts.

That same sense of wonder returns each summer when the park hosts Festival Route 11. For one lively weekend, the shoreline comes alive with Acadian joie de vivre: art, family activities, dance, local flavours and world‑class music on the mainstage.
