Any tips for attending the cavendish beach music festival? We are staying in Charlottetown
Hi Heidi,
Cavendish Beach Music Festival is such a fun PEI summer experience, and my biggest tip is to plan ahead, starting with downloading the official CBMF App. It will be your best friend for set times, vendors, artists, the site map, exclusive contests, and more.
Next, plan your transportation. The festival shuttle is a great option from Charlottetown, and there are private taxi options too. CBMF lists 902-569-8582 and 647-774-2244 for taxi inquiries and recommends booking ahead. They also have pricing ranges on their website.
Driving yourselves is an option too! Just make sure you’re parking in the right lot, as one exits east and one exits west at the end of the night. Parking is first-come, first-served, and leaving after the show can be a little slow.
What to bring? There are free water refill stations, so pack an empty reusable water bottle up to 1L and stay hydrated. Standard “bag” chairs are also allowed.
Once you’re there, give yourself time to take it all in. CBMF is more than just the headliners. There are multiple stages, including the culinary and tailgate stages, plus food vendors, sponsor experiences, games, giveaways, and so much to explore.
What to wear? Think comfortable footwear, sunscreen, weather-friendly clothing, and layers!
If you want to make a bigger experience out of it, build in time for Cavendish Beach, Green Gables Heritage Place, ice cream, mini-golf, or a wander through the North Shore area.
Hope you have the best time at CBMF!
