Do I have to pay if I take the ferry to get on the Island or do I only pay to come back or can I come back on the bridge and pay to come back on the bridge?

Hi Wes,
Thank you for contacting Ask An Islander.
The Confederation Bridge toll is $50.25 for a regular passenger vehicle and the Northumberland Ferry toll from Wood Islands to Caribou is $91.00 for a regular passenger vehicle. Both tolls are based on a round trip and are charged upon your departure from Prince Edward Island.
That being said, if you arrive by bridge and depart on the ferry or the other way around, you only pay a toll at the ferry or bridge when you leave. Enoy your visit to our beautiful Island.
Have a great day!
