Due to time we only have about 1/2 day from confederation bridge to See a few points in PEI. What would you recommend? Thanks Al

Hello Al,
Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander!
I appreciate your interest in our beautiful Island! I'm glad to hear you are planning a trip here. Despite having limited time, you will still be able to see and do quite a bit. With your timeframe, I suggest staying centralized within the Red Sands Shore, Green Gables Shore, Summerside, and Charlottetown regions.
When you first arrive on the Island, I suggest going to either Marine Rail Park (just outside the Gateway Village) or Chelton Beach (not too far from the Gateway Village) to take scenic photographs of the Confederation Bridge. Seacow Head Lighthouse is a beautiful piece of architecture not far from Chelton Beach. It resides on large clifftops overlooking the ocean. Also, I highly suggest going to Victoria-by-the-Sea, a small fishing village, as the town has fantastic seafood, restaurants, gift shops, and other sites. There are two beautiful red sand beaches near Victoria: Argyle Shore and Canoe Cove. At Rocky Point, you can see Charlottetown from across the water.
Up north is the Green Gables Shore Region. Within this region is Cavendish (45 minutes away from the bridge), which contains most of the Anne of Green Gables history. The beaches up north, such as Cavendish Beach and Chelton Beach, contain fantastic white sand. I also suggest, if you have time, exploring the areas of Charlottetown or Summerside.
These are my main suggestions. If you have any more questions, please feel free to reach out.
Kind regards,
Bret MacCaull
