I have the Anne of Green Gables package, is it easy to get from one location to the other (ie. house, play, Avonlea)?

Hello Meghan,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander. We are very excited to hear that you will be visiting PEI to take in all things Anne of Green Gables!

The majority of the Anne of Green Gables attractions included in the package are located in the Green Gables Shore region, all within a 20 km radius, making it easy to see it all in a day.

You can begin your journey at the Anne of Green Gables Museum. From there, head east for a few kilometres to visit the Birthplace of L.M. Montgomery. Then, continue further east for about ten minutes, and you'll arrive in Cavendish. Here, you'll find the Green Gables Heritage Place and Avonlea Village.

Anne & Gilbert the Musical is on stage at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall in Charlottetown, which is about 40 minutes from Cavendish.

If you have your own vehicle, it will be easy to get from place to place. If you don't have a vehicle, you can travel from Charlottetown to Cavendish via T3 Transit. However, the bus does not connect to New London and Park Corner. There is a taxi service in Cavendish called Sundown Taxi. You can find details and more information at Getting Around.

We hope you enjoy your Anne of Green Gables vacation!

Take care,

Taylor
