Hello Regina,

Prince Edward Island is known for being a welcoming and inclusive destination, and visitors from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community will find many opportunities to connect, celebrate, and enjoy everything the Island has to offer. Whether you're interested in beaches, culture, outdoor adventures, local cuisine, festivals, or nightlife, PEI offers experiences for a wide range of interests.

If you're visiting during the summer, consider attending the annual PEI Pride Festival, one of the Island's largest celebrations of diversity and inclusion. The festival typically features community gatherings, family-friendly activities, live entertainment, drag performances, social events, and Pride parades in communities such as Charlottetown and Victoria-by-the-Sea.

Charlottetown is also home to Be You Bar, PEI's first 2SLGBTQIA+ focused bar and community space that welcomes both community members and allies.
Beyond organized events and community spaces, many attractions, accommodations, restaurants, and tourism operators across Prince Edward Island are committed to providing a welcoming experience for all visitors.

We hope you have a wonderful visit and enjoy exploring the many experiences, communities, and coastal landscapes that make Prince Edward Island such a special place.

Take care!

Taylor

Asked: I've heard about the fabulous beaches on PEI. I am wondering where I could find a great beach that is off the beaten path - quiet, secluded and gorgeous.
