What is the occupancy tax on short term rentals

I am unsure of what you mean by occupancy tax. Taxes are collected on short-term rentals and Charlottetown and Summerside both have a Tourism Accommodation Levy of 3%.
Any further questions on taxes would be best answered by the Canada Revenue Agency or your bookkeeper/accountant.
