That's a tough question because there isn't just one answer. The coolest thing to do on Prince Edward Island depends on your interests, who you're travelling with, and the kind of experience you're looking for.

For beach lovers, the beach at Basin Head Provincial Park Beach is hard to beat. 

If you're travelling with children, Kings Castle Park near Murray River is a great choice. Kids can explore castles, fairy tale characters and playgrounds while parents relax and enjoy the scenic waterfront setting.

For food and drink enthusiasts, a Prince Edward Island craft beer tour is a fun way to discover local breweries, meet passionate producers and sample some excellent Island-crafted beer. Just be sure to plan for a designated driver or book a guide, such as PEI|TASTING|TOURS.

If you enjoy outdoor adventures, try clam digging at low tide and then cook your catch for a true sea-to-table experience. It's a uniquely Island activity that combines fresh seafood, local culture, and time outdoors. You may also wish to explore by ocean kayak or cycle along sections of the Confederation Trail, one of Canada's most scenic multi-use trails.

For arts and culture, catch a performance at Kings Playhouse in Georgetown, or follow the Arts and Heritage Trail to meet local artists (like me LOL), visit working studios, and discover the creativity that thrives across the Island.
