Hello Dominique,
Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander. I am happy to hear you are planning a trip to Prince Edward Island!
Prince Edward Island is a year-round destination with many different things to explore, attractions to visit and exciting events that occur all throughout the year. One of my favourite times of year in Prince Edward Island is during the summer months of July and August. During that time, Prince Edward Island is beaming full of a combination of different outdoor activities, delicious places to eat and beautiful beaches to discover.
You could easily spend a couple of weeks discovering different areas across Prince Edward Island. We have five touring regions, which make-up our three coastal drives:
North Cape Coastal Drive (350km) about a 5 hour drive non-stop, Central Coastal Drive (253km) about a four hour drive non-stop and Points East Coastal Drive (475km) about a 6 hour drive non-stop. With so many things to do and different stops along the way, I am confident you can fill your time enjoying Prince Edward Island throughout your visit.
Tourism Prince Edward Island offers a lovely 2025 vacation package, which includes a 2025 visitors guide and a map of Prince Edward Island. The detailed Prince Edward Island map will give you a great overview of tip-to-tip across Prince Edward Island. The visitors guide is filled with beautiful photos to excite you for your travels. The visitors guide also contains QR codes that will direct you to further information on different areas on the tourism website for more information to assist with your planning. If you are interested in receiving the visitors guide and an Island map, please do not hesitate to contact Tourism Prince Edward Island directly and they would be happy to place that order for you when readily available.
I hope this helps with your planning to Prince Edward Island. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out again.
Kind regards,
Keira
