We are looking at renting a cottage summer of 2023. What is the best time of summer (July and August) to go?

The best time to come in summer depends on the type of activity of interest to you. If you enjoy swimming at the beach, the waters become warmer by mid-July. The festivals and events scene heat up by July 1st and runs into the fall season. 

Ultimately, the best time to come may depend on availability in July and August. Now is the time to do your research, check cancellation policies and book accommodation for a 2023 summer vacation.
