I love history. Where are good places to visit and make sure we see on our trip?

If you're interested in history, Prince Edward Island has plenty to explore. A great place to start is with the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation and the ommunity Museum Association of PEI, both of which offer excellent resources for finding museums and historic attractions across the province.

One of the gems that I always recommend is the Cape Bear Lighthouse, located on PEI's southeastern shore. This national historic site was the first land-based station in North America to receive distress signals from the RMS Titanic in 1912. Today, visitors can explore the interpretive centre, learn about the lighthouse's role in maritime communications, and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding red sandstone cliffs and coastline.
