Hello Sabrina,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander and welcome to Prince Edward Island! There are all kinds of free events in and around the Charlottetown area. Discover Charlottetown has a great website full of events. You can pick the type of event that you are looking for, 'free' for example and it will list all of the free events for you. You can have a look by clicking here. There is everything from yoga to live music!

Starting July 1st, The Sounds of the Waterfront will be happening daily between Founders Food Hall and Market and Peakes Quay. Free live music for everyone to enjoy.

Check out the Capital City Canada Day events!  A full day of fun ending in a spectacular fireworks display.

Have fun exploring your new home.
