Best place for the nightlife on a Thursday. I want to hang with the locals. Not a tourist trap.

Good afternoon Jenna;

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. Beginning July 1, you can experience great live music every night of the week in PEI. On Thursday specifically, I would recommend Evermoore Brewing Co in Summerside or the Charlottetown Beer Garden (on a warm evening). If you have a car, the talented Craig Fair performs at Lone Oak Brewpub on the patio, which is awesome.  

The Trailside Music Hall in downtown Charlottetown is another great venue for live music by locals and visiting artists.
