Can you recommend a restaurant that would have live Celtic/Irish music ?

Good morning Carolyn;
Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. For Celtic / Irish music, I would suggest dining at the Olde Dublin Pub in Charlottetown where they offer live music during dinner from Thursday to Sunday. Check out their Facebook account for the weekly schedule.
Another option is the Old Triangle Irish Ale House. You'll find an Irish Music Session playing there every Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. They also have a daily music lineup in summer. Again, check out their Facebook account for details.
You will also find lively Irish music at ceilidhs and kitchen parties in small halls across PEI. You may also want to review the schedule of events at the College of Piping in Summerside. Upon your arrival, check-in at a Visitor Information Centre and staff will be able to advise you of Celtic entertainment during your stay.
I invite you to download or order our 2024 visitor’s guide. You can always stay in touch by signing up for the Tourism PEI newsletter which includes details on upcoming festivals and events and recipes too!
Have a wonderful summer vacation!
