Good morning David;

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. According to a CBC report yesterday, some parts of Prince Edward Island were experiencing haze due to Quebec fires on Sunday. Since then, the air quality improved and wasn't noticeable in Charlottetown yesterday. For your reference, see this Environment Canada Air Quality Health Index.

We hope this provides the assurance you need to plan a trip to Prince Edward Island. Have a wonderful summer.

Regards,

Verna Lynne
