Hello, I’m looking at staying at the Floating Cottages on the Quay and would like to know if the area is generally safe for families. Thank you!

Hello Danielle,
Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.
The Floating Cottages on the Quay has the ideal location at Charlottetown's beautiful waterfront. They are close to fine restaurants, interesting shops and live music. Founders Hall and Confederation Landing Park are nearby.
These floating cottages are safe, secure and barely move. The water is also safe to swim. This general city area is safe depending on the family's comfort level. In addition, the cottages are a popular accommodation so early booking reservations is recommended.
The Tourism PEI website is a useful resource and excellent guide to planning a vacation.
Regards,
Kevin Barbour

Asked: I will be visiting Souris in early July 2024. I would love to take in a traditional lobster boil ( if that’s the correct wording , with the potatoes and corn and sea food ). Is there a local area known for offering this?
