Hello, my question is where is the best place to look for summer jobs for international travellers on temporary work visas? I'd love to visit and work on PEI for the summer months, thanks!

Hello Beth,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.

Prince Edward Island is a great place to visit and work.

The first step for an international traveller looking for summer work on a temporary work visa is to call the PEI Office Of Immigration at (902)-620-3628 to verify criteria requirements. Following this, it is as easy as applying for jobs on the Work PEI, Jobs PEI, or any other employment website. On the Work PEI site, there is an opportunity to create and update a job seeker account. Also, applications may be sent directly to employers for any position of interest.

Thank you for your interest to visit and work on PEI!

Regards,

Kevin Barbour
