Hi there,My family is doing an RV trip in mid-June to Prince Edward Island National Park. Was wondering what local grocery and food producers we could shop at on our way to the park.Cheers.

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out, and I am so happy to hear that you are coming to visit. The PEI National Park is so beautiful!
I am going to guess that you will be entering PEI via the Confederation Bridge. I think the best idea for stocking up on groceries on your way to the National Park would be to head to Summerside which is about a 20-minute drive from Borden-Carleton. Summerside is the second-largest city in PEI and has all of the larger grocery stores to meet your needs.
Summerside also has a lovely butcher shop. They specialize in Canadian and local meats, local fresh and frozen produce, local cheeses, and a few other necessities.
Before you head off to Summerside, I would also suggest that you stop at the Visitor Information Centre in Borden and ask for a Fresh Products Directory. The linked brochure is from 2019, but they should have a newer one on hand. It is filled with information on the local product from all across the Island. They can also help you with any other questions you might have before you head out on your adventure.
Take care,
Valerie
