Is ferry service available from Souris to Newfoundland? It was available in 1975 and 1982.

Good afternoon Paul;

Thank you for contacting Ask an Islander. Ferry service from Souris is to  Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec. To reach Newfoundland by ferry, you must travel to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

I invite you to download or order our 2024 visitor’s guide. You can always stay in touch by signing up for the Tourism PEI newsletter which includes details on upcoming festivals and events and recipes too!

Have a wonderful summer vacation!
