I've found some music events within an hour of Summerside for you to check out. Some of these are PEI Mutual Festival of Small Hall events which are very popular and usually sell out pretty quickly. If you see one that interests you, I would suggest that you get tickets as soon as possible.
June 20th in O'Leary is Richard Wood Live! for the Festival of Small Halls at O'Leary United Church. Richard is an extremely talented local fiddler and step dancer who has enchanted audiences all over the world. O'Leary is about 60 km from Summerside.
Another Small Hall event, Fiddlers' Sons and Friends on June 19th is sure to get your toes tapping. This event is in Belfast which is about an hour's drive from Summerside.
June 19th in Charlottetown, Acoustic Evenings at the Gahan House is always a popular event. The Old Triangle, also in Charlottetown has live music with the Schooner session on Thursday nights from 7 - 9 p.m.
