Where are they serving High Tea in PEI?

Hi Cathy,
High tea is a beautiful tradition that harkens back to a simpler time when we had the time to linger over delicate sandwiches and fancies. There are lovely spots on PEI to enjoy high tea throughout the year.
One of the most well-known high teas is served at Dalvay by the Sea .
High tea at Dalvay happens every Sunday from 2-4 pm. You are asked to make a reservation to ensure your experience; it is a very popular weekly event! I've been a solid handful of times and it's always lovely. You will get to pick your tea from a wide variety of loose leaf teas and it is prepared in the traditional way.
If you are planning a trip to the Western end of the Island, Tyne Valley's Tea Cafe comes highly recommended. They also serve a traditional high tea. This experience requires advanced booking, see the link above.
In Clinton, you will find the Blue Winds Tea Room where they serve high tea seasonally. This year their high tea will occur Mid June through September:
Monday to Thursday - 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Be sure to call to book a table; it's a quaint and cozy spot!
If you are looking to take the high tea experience home with you, be sure to visit the PEI Preserve Company! They sell a vast selection of everything you'd ever need to host a high tea at home including their famous tea biscuit mix and plethora of jams!
