August is right in the middle of our lobster fishing season, so you should have no issue finding lobster at any of the fish marts or local vendors.
If you're looking for a traditional-style lobster supper, I would recommend checking out New Glasgow Lobster Suppers in New Glasgow, or Fishermen's Wharf Lobster Suppers in North Rustico. If lobster rolls are more your thing, I definitely suggest The Water Prince Corner Shop in Downtown Charlottetown, The Lobster Barn in Victoria by the Sea and Gilles à Alva Lobster Shack in Mont-Carmel, and those are just a few of the many places you will find.
I also recommend stopping by one of our visitor information centres when you arrive, as we have a fresh food directory we can give you.
