When and where is the PEI Tulip Festival?

Answer by:

Hello Marion,

I am a lover of the tulips! The end of May is the best time to catch them, weather and season permitting.

I highly recommend following Vanco Farms for updates of when their fields are ready. They will post where to find their fields and hours of operation. The last few years I have travel to Dromore to see them! They have had fields open in other areas around Pownal previously.

Belfast Tulips at the Belfast Corn Maze.

Follow the Monks! Last year the Monks had an amazing field of tulips! This turned into one of my favourite flower stops this past year.

Today we had a significant snow fall, so your question warmed my heart with colours of the spring! Nineteen weeks away and we shall be standing in the red soil fields, enjoying those beautiful tulips!

Warm thoughts,

Erin Davis

Asked: I will be visiting Souris in early July 2024. I would love to take in a traditional lobster boil ( if that’s the correct wording , with the potatoes and corn and sea food ). Is there a local area known for offering this?
