Are there any entertainment venues open between now and June 3? Plays, music, shows, festivals that type of style.

Hi Sandra,

Welcome to PEI - you’re definitely in luck as the majority of our music venues here offer programming year-round. I’ll list off a number for you that can keep you busy and entertained the entire time you’re here!

The Old Triangle offers up music quite a few times during the week - their schedule can be found here - my brother Mark hosts music sessions there every Thursday and it’s a great time!

The Trailside Music Hall offers up a good number of shows during the week as well - their schedule can be found HERE. Highly recommend grabbing dinner at Hopyard or Abbiocco beforehand!

The Guild in Charlottetown is a live performance theatre - they have events happening during this time too! Best to check their schedule HERE to make sure you can catch something there.

While we’re still on the topic of Charlottetown, a good number of restaurants/pubs offer up live music all through the week - highly recommend checking out Old Dublin Pub, Gahan House, Brickhouse, Lone Oak Brewpub, Piatto Pizzeria, Hunter’s Ale House, and Peakes Quay (just to name a few!)

Outside the city, things can be a little slower this time of year but you can still find some gems.

Evermoore in Summerside has regular entertainment and Harbourfront Theatre in Summerside has regular events as well!

All of the above should keep you going! Hopefully, you can enjoy a few of those spots!

Thanks,

Al Douglas
