Good afternoonCan you tell me where in PEI that I might be able to buy hooked rug items - pillows, table runners etc - will be visiting PEI June 17 to June 20/22thanks

Hi Shirley & Don,

There are several fibre producers and craftspeople on Prince Edward Island. Though for specifically Rug Hooking, I would recommend Pastimes PEI Rug Hooking and Wool Shop.

They are three sisters that run a little rug hooking shop in Vernon Bridge. They sell their woollen rugs, rug hooking patterns, wool fabric and yarn. I would definitely recommend checking them out, I've attached a link to their website here: Pastimes PEI Rug Hooking and Wool Shop.

I also recommend visiting one of our visitor information centres when you arrive. There we can give you the Arts & Heritage Guide which will have all the different craftsmen, woodworkers, potters, fibre workers, shops and more.

Best Regards,

Blaire
