Travel to PEI for 3/4 days. Best recommendation and places to drive coastal routes and stay. Food, craft breweries and beaches a must. First week of june

Hi Shona,
How exciting for you! The weather forecast looks to be quite good for touring the Island next week.
The most popular stretch of coastline would be the Prince Edward Island National Park which is sand dunes and beach and water. I love the stretch from Rusticoville through North Rustico and Cavendish. But honestly, my favourite little stretch of coastline is in the southeast corner of PEI. Head east to Beach Point (a lovely beach); on to Cape Bear (there is a historic lighthouse to visit!); head southwest on highway 18 through Guernsey Cove, White Sands, High Bank where most of the land is cleared and there is a beautiful view across Northumberland Strait of Nova Scotia. If you stay the night outside of Murray Harbour - 'Forest and Lake' has cottages and a B&B or in a cottage at 'Ocean Acres' - you can watch fishing boats at the wharf or start your day with a beautiful sunrise. Then, if you are in the Pinette area late in the day, there is no better place to watch the sunset!
PEI has many breweries, so I am not sure that 3 or 4 days will allow you to sample them all! Montague has two craft breweries, Copper Bottom and Bogside. At Copper Bottom you can sample a PEI Handpie along with award-winning brews. Charlottetown is home to Upstreet Craft Brewing and the PEI Brewing Company. Barnone (Breadalbane), Lone Oak (Borden), Evermoore (Summerside) and Moth Lane (Ellerslie - I love their 'Draggin' Anchor') are a few of the others. If you can't make it around to all the breweries, visit The 'Craft Brew Corner' in Charlottetown or check in one of the pubs that carry a few of the local beers. Along with a beer, you should try a lobster roll (my favourite is from Harbourview Restaurant in Murray Harbour), 'Lobster Mac & Cheese' topped off with 'Apple Fries' from 'The Chip Shack' on Peakes Wharf in Charlottetown. Honestly, there are so many great and varied eateries across PEI, that I can guarantee you won't go hungry!
For accommodations, it might be best to select what area you would like to base yourself on and move around from there. I would recommend searching the PEI Tourism website where you can select for region, price and amenities.
Wishing you all the best on your PEI getaway!

Asked: I will be visiting Souris in early July 2024. I would love to take in a traditional lobster boil ( if that’s the correct wording , with the potatoes and corn and sea food ). Is there a local area known for offering this?
