When is the best time of year to visit PEI

Hello Walter,

Thank you for your question.

The ideal time for a visitor seeking sun, beaches and relatively warm water is from July through to August. This is considered prime tourism season. But if you want nice weather and fewer people, plus experiencing the colourful splendor that fall exhibits, I would recommend September and or October. Many locals consider post Labour Day as the ideal time on the Island. Everything seasonal is still open but prices are coming down and the place is absolutely gorgeous right up to Canadian Thanksgiving in mid October.

I hope this helps.
