We are planning a trip to the maritimes in Sept 2025. Visiting Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and of course PEI. Can you recommend some events for that time of the year?

It is wonderful to hear that you are planning a trip to the maritimes in the fall of 2025. September tends to be a pleasant weather month on PEI. Depending on the time of the month, there are a number of events happening including the PEI International Shellfish Festival, Sommo Festival, and Fall Flavours Food and Drink Festival. In addition, many communities across the Island are still hosting ceilidhs and kitchen parties as well as theatre. The exact dates and details have yet to be announced so referring to the PEI Tourism website and the entertainment guide, The Buzz, are often great resources in helping to plan.
