Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. Anytime is a great time to enjoy fresh lobster in PEI! Prince Edward Island has two lobster seasons, the spring fishery runs from May until the end of June and then the fall season starts mid-August and runs until mid-October.

Fresh PEI lobsters are available throughout the year, as fishers catch enough during the spring season to last until the fall, storing the lobsters in saltwater tanks.

You can find fresh lobster at our seafood markets, at restaurants and take-outs across the Island or you can enjoy a lobster feast on the water!
