Where are the best places to dig for clams on the south side of the island?

Thank you for contacting Ask an Islander. Read this article for guidance about digging for clams. Some places better known for clam digging are Maximeville, Pinette, Victoria or Tea Hill. Other Islanders note that the rivers of Montague, Cardigan and Brudenell all offer great clamming. Personally, as I live in the Cornwall area, I go to Rice Point.
