Where can I dig clams

Hi Ashley,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. Most people head to the south side of the island for clam digging. Some popular places are Victoria by the Sea, Tea Hill, Maximeville, and Pinette.

You'll want to go at low tide and check the Department of Fisheries and Oceans website on "what do I need to know before harvesting shellfish" for regulations and size and catch limits.

Have fun!
