Good morning from Prince Edward Island,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander. Dogs are permitted on the grounds at Green Gables Heritage Place on leash. However, they are not permitted in any buildings, including the main museum.

If you do plan to travel with your dog, you may find our article about Travelling with Your Pet helpful.

I invite you to get a copy of our 2023 visitor’s guide or pick one up when you arrive at the airport or any Visitor Information Centre. You can always stay in touch by signing up for the Tourism PEI newsletter which includes details on upcoming festivals and events and recipes too!

Have a fabulous vacation! Thank you for choosing Prince Edward Island.
